Practicing petroleum engineer with forty-one (41) years’ experience in the management, analysis and operations of oil and gas producing properties. His experience includes but is not limited to reservoir engineering, production operations, drilling and injection projects. He has also been a technical advisor and representative before oil and gas regulatory bodies.
His experience includes working with large, international, integrated, diversified oil companies as well as small, privately held oil producers where he was responsible for all activities and decisions relative to field operations, technical analyses and budgets. Joe has worked in many of the oil producing states in the lower 48 states, Canada and in some provinces in South America.
With over twenty years of successful experience in acquiring, managing and operating producing properties/leases and fields and have made offers for small, independent oil producing company’s while managing my own consulting office and staff.
On a corporate level, I have managed, mentored and advised technical staff from various disciplines and have been in charge of corporate engineering departments. Joe is an author and have published and presented several technical papers to the industry on both the local and national level including the international arena.

Recognized Petroleum Engineer, specialist in Oil Field Valuation and Petrophysical Reservoir, with 30 years of experience, graduated as a Petroleum Engineer from the National University of Engineering Lima, Peru with studies in Computer Science at the Cybernetic Technology Center in Lima, Peru.
Considered an expert in computer systems. During his career, he received several technical recognitions and was considered Principal Reservoir-Petrophysics; exclusive technical level worldwide for Petrophysicist within Schlumberger Limited, a company where he worked for more than 23 years, he began his career as a Reservoir Engineer in the offshore zone north of Peru for Belco Petroleum Co., Petromar S.A. and Petro-Tech Peruana before joining Schlumberger. In addition, he is an active member of multiple geo-societies. His experience in fields in almost all of Latin America and the southern area of the United States has allowed him to achieve significant knowledge in almost all the activities of the oil and gas industry, being recognized for his solid technical understanding and ability to design plans that provide successful results.

Extensive experience in developing / executing projects (FDP) including expressways, development wells and Workover proposals, reserve estimates and government permits. Conducted opportunity assessments in the Western Hemisphere, including North, Central, and South America (Brazil, Ecuador, Colombia, Venezuela, Argentina, Bolivia, Trinidad and Tobago, and the United States, Permian Basin, etc.). both in conventional and unconventional deposits. Recognized as an excellent contact and communicator with geoscientific clients to help them understand the benefits of new reservoir technology and proficient in various industry software.
Graduated from the National University of Rio Cuarto as a Geologist and a Master's degree in Geophysics from the National University of Cuyo in Argentina, with more than 29 years of experience in the oil industry focused on exploration projects, reservoir characterization and field development plans. His experience in different basins of the world to mention a few, in Mexico, Colombia, Ecuador, Iraq, Vietnam, Oman, Nigeria, Angola, Namibia, Equatorial Guinea, Tunisia, Morocco, Georgia, Albania and Kazakhstan has allowed him to evaluate the investment and the risks associated with the generation of numerous exploratory perspectives. His expertise in reservoir characterization using seismic data and information to predict oil sands places him as a highly qualified professional within the oil and gas industry. He has been the leader of Geoscientist teams within Schlumberger Limited in many of the countries to which he was assigned.

Extensive experience in the oil and gas industry in Latin America and Mexico. She worked as Business Development Manager for Latin America for Geo-center de Colombia, Project Manager for service provider companies and consultant for private and national independent oil and gas companies, as well as for the Ministry of Energy in Mexico as Upstream Economic Director analysis. He was an oil and gas specialist for the United Kingdom Embassy in Mexico based in Tabasco. He has experience in applied innovation and entrepreneurship programs with the Business Forum of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in Mexico.
Geological engineer, graduated from the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos, Lima-Peru. He has a master's degree in "Geology applied to Energy Resources" from the University of Granada, Spain. He has completed the diploma in Petrophysics developed by “NExT” (Schlumberger and Herriot-Watt Universities of Edinburgh, Texas A&M and Oklahoma). He has 30 years (15 of them in the Schlumberger company) as an expert in Reservoir Geology and Petrophysical Characterization. He developed projects for Integrated Studies, Prospects Generation, Geological Modeling, Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR), Field Development Plan (FDP), Visualization, Conceptualization and Development (FEL-VCD), among others. It has obtained recognition from Intevep-PDVSA Venezuela, Pemex and Schlumberger. In addition, he has experience in fields in Mexico, Venezuela, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru and Romania, both onshore and offshore.
